- Pasta is done, reserve 2-4 tbsp of pasta water for later use.
- Drain cooked pasta, add 1 tsp olive oil and keep aside.
- Heat 1 tbsp oil in another pan, add 2 tsp minced garlic and saute for few seconds.
- Add 1/4 cup each of yellow & green peppers, saute for a few mins.
- Add 1/2 cup ready red sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta, 1 tsp each of dried oregano,parsley,pepper powder and salt,toss till the pasta gets well coated with the sauce.
- Add the reserved pasta water, mix well, take off heat.
- Garnish with fresh basil leaves, serve hot.
