  4. At this stage, I add any extract or vanilla beans. Put the top on.
  5. Press the "yogurt" function key and adjust the time setting using the "+" key. It takes about 12-hours.
  6. When done the pot will beep and the display will go to "standby."

Another great thing is that I can use my own yogurt as a starter and keep it going for a few generations. Homemade fresh yogurt is much better for you than yogurt that's been on the shelves of the grocery store. Homemade Instant Pot yogurt comes out just as store bought.
